A. Aimee and yes, the A. stands for Amy. So her name is Amy Aimee.
A. Aimee wrote a book called 'Good Pussy Bad Pussy' which Bedroom Books published and released in October 2013.
The following information was obtained from A. Aimee's Official Website.
"My question (or you could say my project) is: How would it be to be unabashedly lovely and loving? How would it be? To really be that?
That’s what I want to know. How would it be to be unequivocally and amazingly lovely and loving? To just amp it up and pull out all the stops? And be that amazing someone or something you already know you are (but probably never admitted)? And not be half-assed about it either but rather really let it out and fly.
It almost makes you blush just to think about it, doesn’t it? You without all your inhibitions. You without all your insecurities. You without being ground down by everyone’s expectations including your own. Just you – allowing you, allowing yourself, to be in contact with, feel and actually live the glorious life which is you, yours.
And yes I know, I’m being a little highfalutin here… yes I hear you. It’s not really possible you say. I know; that’s what they told me too. But still…
OK I admit it. We’re on shaky ground here aren’t we?
And well yes, as I said, that’s kind of my project. Being a little highfalutin and on shaky ground and all.
And, while shaking and being on shaky ground, still having the guts to go and explore it anyway… in life – and on paper.
So yes, I wrote a book and called it “Good Pussy Bad Pussy – Rachel’s Tale”. So there’s no mistaking what it’s about here, is there? And yes, it’s an on-paper attempt to explore this… an on-paper attempt to express some of this without actually talking about it directly that is…
But what my heroine Rachel does when she’s coming from that space is rather intoxicating at times. Or at least that’s my experience, watching her. And watching how it actually plays out when she’s not sure about much except the energy she feels… the drive… the intoxication of her own soul… It’s that impulse again, isn’t it?
So yes, I found it quite intriguing to let her loose through me. And it’s been quite a ride. Because whenever I thought about her and her story, I just got sucked into it. It just drew me in and on, which is why I guess, I did and still am writing about her a lot. She/Rachel makes me feel well rather heady. High you might say. And sometimes downright horny, when the life juices are steaming/streaming in and through her/me!
I can’t be the only woman on the planet who feels like this!"

Marcus Alexander has written a series called 'The Keepers of The Realms'. This is aimed for children aged 8-12 (although I am aware of older people enjoying reading them, including myself). Although, it is based around Charlie's various adventures, there is enough excitement, adventure and imagination in them to get girls, boys and adults into reading them instead of playing on game stations or being glued to the television.
Marcus was kind enough to answer a few questions for me, which I am very grateful for.
I was curious to know more about what he writes, how he got into writing, what he enjoys reading and where it is other people can find out about him and his work as well as follow him on various social media websites. So here goes, Q&A TIME!!!
(Q) What is it that you write about?
(A) "What I write - When I was a kid I used to devour books (like a beast! Sometimes a book a day!) The adventures of all the heroes and heroines living in these fantasy worlds filled my head. These constant daydreams inspired me to start travelling in search of my own adventures and after years of travelling and adrenaline my own adventures caused me to turn full circle and begin writing. Fingers crossed Charlie's travels in the world of Bellania will inspire young readers to not just read more but remember that it's important to once in a while put books down and get out there and chase their own dreams."
(Q) What made you decide to write?, In other words, how did you get into writing?
(A) "How I got started -I knew I wanted to be a published author but I was neither rich, famous or had any industry hookups. Neither did I want an agent who would take 15% of my cut for little more than a golden handshake. I attacked the issue of getting signed as a business problem. I self-published 2000 units with the intention of proving the commercial validity of my product to publishing houses. I went out with the aim of selling 1500 units and giving away 500 for marketing and review purposes. Armed with my results, reviews and following (I had B-boys, B-girls, poppers, lockers, trickers, traceurs, gymnasts, fighters and even graffiti artists following the book!) I approached Puffin, explained that I was a newbie but this is what I'd achieved and would they please take a look at my work? Puffin were beyond awesome! They have a crew of young readers called the Spinebreakers who were kind enough to look at the book and after receiving their thumbs up I got signed! (Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! Puffin you rock! Spinebreakers you're beyond epic!)"
(Q) What type of books/genres do you enjoy reading?
(A) "What I enjoy reading - Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Comics & Outsider Business."
(Q) Where can people check out information on you and what you do? Where can they follow you through social Media?
(A) "Fans, peeps & readers can hit me up on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and of course on my website."
#Bloggers Note: I want to take the time in thanking 'M' in answering my questions, you're totally awesome.

Hans Christian Andersen was a Dutch author who in the 1800's created some of the best children's fairy tales that are read and translated all around the world, even today.
Although Hans was a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels, and poems, Andersen is best remembered for his fairy tales. Andersen's popularity is not limited to children; his stories, called "eventyr" in Danish, or "fairy-tales" in English, express themes that transcend age and nationality.
His fairy tales have been translated into more than 120 languages. Some of his more famous stories such as 'The Little Mermaid', 'The Snow Queen', 'The Emperor's New Clothes' as well as many others have been used as inspiration or translated to be used for many plays, ballets, live-action and animated films (Some created by Disney).
Hans Christian Andersen passed away in August 1875 following an accident from falling out of bed and injuring himself, which he was never able to recover from. Even before his death, steps had been taken to erect a statue in his honour in Copenhagen, as he was seen as a 'national treasure'.

Paul Chaplin has only been into writing novels seriously for the past couple of years. When he was younger, he had an idea for a book. Bourne out of his love of Sci-Fi and having grown up with the likes of Doctor Who, Blake's 7 and Star Wars.
Paul committed a rough draft of my first chapter to paper (long before laptops and the internet) and around two years ago, when time permitted, Paul was able to write more.
Paul lives in Rural Suffolk, UK and loves the laid back lifestyle that this gives him. Even his local pub knows exactly what he likes and when he walks in the door, they start pouring.
As an avid reader, Paul loves Terry Pratchett, Val McDermid, Henning Mankell and Elizabeth George as well as reading and enjoying nearly all Star Wars spin off books.
Aside from his obvious enjoyment of reading, Chaplin has interests in Sci-Fi as well as watching various sports. Paul has four cats that keep him company when attempting to write.
Paul Chaplin's first book was Science Fiction and although he is still writing in this genre, his most recent book ('A Dark Persecution') is a Murder Mystery. - Release date for A DARK PERSECUTION is November 9th 2014.
(Thank you Paul for sending me this information and for answering my questions. I appreciate it greatly.)

Cassandra Clare is the pen name of Judith Rumelt, is an American author of young adult fiction, most known for her bestselling series The Mortal Instruments.
Cassandra was born to American parents in Iran and spent a lot of her childhood travelling the world with her family. Since they moved around so much, Cassandra found solace and familiarity in books and no matter where she went, she would always have a book with her.
After college, Cassandra Clare worked for various magazines and tabloids where she would report on Hollywood Celebs.
Inspired by the urban landscape of Manhattan, she started working on her first novel, YA best seller - City of Bones in 2004. In 2006, she turned to writing fantasy fiction on a full time basis, gratefully leaving behind celeb stories such as fashion malfunctions and the mishaps of celebs gone crazy.
Cassandra, like many other people nowadays (including myself) was having difficulty with writing and concentrating on meeting deadlines at home, due to the various reality TV shows and pets that want her attention. So to combat this, Cassandra has chosen to work at coffee shops and restaurants in her local area and is now able to stick to those dreaded deadlines.

Jacqueline Gold is a successful business woman who has managed to blast her way through a very male dominated industry that is 'sex'. Gold is the chief executive of Ann Summers and Knickerbox.
Born in England in the year 1960, you could say that she was almost born into a business driven family. Jacqueline's father ran a publishing business that was responsible for brining sex magazines to the high street. After leaving school and deciding she didn't want to go into management, She asked her father (who had gained four Ann Summers stores in 1972) for some form of work experience. So at the age of 19, Jacqueline started out working within the Ann Summers stores and was only paid £45 per week.
Jacqueline didn't like the atmosphere at Ann Summers, which was her father's version of 'up market', clean sex shops. She found it was a male orientated company, which was exactly as the sex industry was perceived to be. Then, things changed for Jacqueline, thanks to a chance invitation to a Tupperware party in the East of London in '81.
Following this, Gold saw the potential of starting Ann Summers Parties, where selling sexy lingerie and sex toys to women in the privacy of their homes was a true possibility.
In 2007, she was voted the second most powerful woman in retail by 'Retail Week'.
Jacqueline Gold has wrote 2 auto/biographical stories 'Please Let It Stop: A True Story of an Abused Childhood' (Describing and talking about her experiences with her step-father) and 'Good Vibrations: True story of Ann Summers' (Talking about her rise to chief executive in a male dominated industry). She has also produced various collections of 'Ann Summers Erotic Stories'.

Kelbian Noel was born on a warm June night in Moncton, New Brunswick. Officially at 11:59pm but registered at 12:01am she technically has two birthdays. Which should mean more cake and gifts, but never really has.
From a very young age, she loved to read. She found herself engulfed in novels by Janette Oke and L.M. Montgomery, but never seemed to find herself in the pages. At the age of 11 she declared she would simply have to rewrite them, and become the youngest author in history. But life was full of baseball, homework, BFFs and boys.
Decades later, having studied writing in college and pursued it as a career, she rediscovered her hobby. She is excited to introduce 'The Witchbound Series' to the world with hopes someone will love the beginning of this story as much as she does.
Kelbian lives in Toronto, Ontario with her two children (where, thanks to a thick layer of smog, Junes are much warmer than they used to be).
She is the founder of www.diverse-pages.com and blogs there often, in the company of some pretty cool people.

As well as 'One On One', Patterson is also involved in various other avenues for encouraging reading and writing. These avenues include:
- ReadKiddoRead.com - This is a website that is designed to help librarians, teachers and parents ignite excitement into the young generation when it comes to reading. This is done by recommending books that have been chosen to make kids 'drool' and to help them find the right type of book that they can lose themselves in the pages. Other features of this site include: book reviews, Facebook Community Network, messages from J.P himself, competitions to win free books as well as contributions from other authors/celebrities who also share the same believe in the importance of getting kids excited about reading. On a yearly basis, 'ReadKiddoRead' host the 'Kiddo Awards' where the very best books of the year that have got kids into reading are nominated and awarded. Fans of ReadKiddoRead also look forward to the summer reading list which is normally released in time of Summer holidays (released around early May)
- James's College Book Bucks program - This program has given colleges over $170,000 in book shopping sprees over the past three years. Those seniors heading off the college are asked to answer the wuestion "How has your favourite book inspired you toward what you'd like to do in life?". The best essays are awarded with money towards college textbooks (for more information check out the Official Website now!)
- Middle School Book Bucks program - This is a new program that started in June of 2013. Kids who read at least four books are entered into a competition to win a book shopping spree. (more info can be found on James Patterson's Official Website)
- Book Donations - Patterson has donated well over 200,000 books to soldiers at home and abroad. As well as this, James has donated a box of books to every school in the Palm Beach County, NYC, Savannah and L.A. unified school districts which is over 400 schools! - I say this is a great way to get children into reading as well as helping adults to promote the excitement that reading a great story can bring.

Pauline Reage is one of the pen names used by Anne Cecile Desclos (she also goes by the name of Dominique Aury). Anne was a French journalist and novelist from September 1907 - April 1998.
After completing her studies, Anne became a journalist up until 1946 when she decided to become an editorial secretary for Gallimard Publishers. At this point, Anne started to use the pen name of Dominique Aury.
Being a enthusiastic reader of both English and American literature, Anne was tasked with the job of translating or introducing French readers with some of the most renowned authors of all time (including authors such as Virginia Woolf, T. S. Eliot and F. Scott Fitzgerald, to name but a few). She soon became a critic and was even made a member of the jury for several prominent literary awards.
As her career progressed, so did her love life. Desclos became involved with her employer Jean Palhan, who had made the remark that women were not capable for writing an erotic novel (Paulhan was a huge admirer of Marquis de Sade - he is best known for his erotic works, where he combines philosophical discourse with pornography)

Wendy Steele lives on a hillside in Wales. She can see the mountains from a place on her land where one day, she'll build a straw bale writing room.
She worked in the City, BC (Before Children) but since 1999 has indulged her creative side, training in natural therapies, belly dance and writing. Publication of dance articles led to writing courses, and summer school, producing her first novel 'Destiny of Angels - First book in the Lilith Trilogy.'
In 2012 she published her first non-fiction title ' Wendy Woo's Year - A Pocketful of Smiles', as well as two short story anthologies and an erotic accompaniment to the Lilith Trilogy 'Too Hot for Angels'. In June this year, she published 'Wrath of Angels - Second book in the Lilith Trilogy' and on 6th November 2014, released her first book conceived and written in Wales, 'The Standing Stone - Home for Christmas'.
Wendy lives with her partner, Mike, and four cats and spends her days renovating her house, clearing her land and, when time and weather allows, sitting on her riverbank, breathing in the beauty of nature.
Q) I asked Wendy what it was she enjoys to read and in response she replied with the following:
A) What I like to read
I'm lucky enough to read and review for a group so I have been exploring new genres in the past two years. I love historical fiction and have discovered a few great new authors Paula Lofting (fabulous Viking stories), Judith Arnopp (loving her Tudor stories) and Tarah Scott and Amber Dane (sexy historical fiction). I love Terry Pratchett books and reread them for pure relaxation. My favourite book of the year so far is a ghost story called Waiting for Harvey by Lydia North. I love Lelani Black's cheeky, sexy books full of beautifully created characters. I've also enjoyed fantasy fiction by Helen Daly and Bonnie Bernard.
(All information above on Wendy Steele was provided by her for me to use on my blog. I want to take the time to thank her for giving this to me. I appreciate it.)

Stevie Turner started writing a couple of years' ago. After her children had grown and fled the nest, and she had some spare time. Stevie had gone through a turbulent time, and started off writing a 'faction' book 'The Porn Detective', where some of the events in the book were fact and some fiction (it's up to the reader to try and distinguish between the two!).
After finishing the book she had the writing bug and penned another 5 fiction novels in a short space of time. Writing is now Stevie's main passion, and has found time to write several hundred words per day in-between working as a medical secretary.
As a reader herself, Stevie likes to read autobiographies, and Suspense/Romance fiction. Two of her novels are of the Suspense genre, and as previously mentioned, The Porn Detective is partly autobiographical.
(Thank you Stevie for providing me with information. I appreciate it.)

Molly Ann Wishlade has always been an avid reader and writer of stories. She regularly indulges her love of romance and passion by getting lost in the delicious worlds created by romantic novelists. When not reading, she's busy with her current WIP, usually her next highly erotic tale about sexy and saucy cowboys and their lady loves - and sometimes their gorgeous male lovers too.
She wants to take readers on the roller-coaster that is life through the creation of vivid characters, relationships and worlds.
And she loves to hear from readers.
I asked Molly some questions and she graciously answered my questions. Her answers are below.
Q) What do you write write:
A) I write historical and contemporary erotic romances but I have a fondness for setting my stories in the past, especially the Wild West and the Regency period.
Q) When do you write:
A) I work full time and have a husband, two children, two dogs and four bearded dragons, so writing has to be fitted in around everything else. I write wherever and whenever but I do love knowing that I can get up early on the weekend and get some quality typing in before my children get up and need my attention. I also write a lot in the school holidays. I’m a note taker and I constantly write notes about new plots and characters and my inspiration can come from anywhere.
Q) Where do you write:
A) I write wherever I can but I do have a favourite chair. I have two foot stools near it and I place my diary, pens and notebooks on them. As well as essential post-it notes. I find them stuck all over the house, the dogs, the children… ;-)
Q) What got me into writing:
A) I’ve always written. Always. Prose, poetry, letters, essays. But I first started taking this seriously – and by that I mean believing that I could write and get published – in my early thirties.
Q) How did you get into writing?
A) The Rocky Road to Publication: I always dreamt of being a published writer but I thought that it was one of those things that happens for others, not people like me. So, following University, I became a teacher then had two beautiful children. I was so busy being a mother and working that I didn’t have much time to think about being creative.
However, as my children got older, I felt that yearning to write building again. Only this time, it was stronger. I’d immersed myself in motherhood but I wasn’t happy with my job, so I took a career break and tried writing a medical romance. I read lots of romances, plotted a story then wrote the first three chapters and a synopsis.
I submitted my manuscript to a major romance publisher then waited. I should have been finishing it then starting the next one but I didn’t. I procrastinated. A lot! Then some more. When the rejection finally came, I wasn’t surprised. So, what did I do? Not a lot. It just wasn’t the right time for me, I guess. Instead of having another go, I got myself another full time job at a different school and packed away my dream of writing, thinking that perhaps I didn’t really have it in me.
However, a few years ago, when I met my husband and told him all about my dreams, something clicked. He really believed that I could do this and he encouraged me to go for it. His confidence boosted my own and inspired me to try again. He’s such a strong and determined man that with his support and faith in me, I felt more confidence in my ability than ever before.
So, armed with his support I began writing in earnest. I scoured the internet for submission calls and publishers accepting unsolicited manuscripts. I wrote and plotted and submitted. There were rejections but they weren’t heartbreakingly negative. I even had several ‘revise and resubmits’ which gave me hope and encouraged me to persevere.
My lowest point came just before Christmas 2012 when a rejection of a R&R made me feel like throwing in the towel once again.
Guess what? I didn’t.
A dear friend did a thorough critique of the story and told me what the issues were but also what she loved about it. It was a steep but invaluable learning curve and it increased my determination.
For Christmas 2012, my husband bought me a cover for my Kindle. It’s designed to look like a Victorian book cover and it has my name inscribed on the spine. On the inside front cover is a message which reads: This is your first book cover of many. You will be published! With support and encouragement like that, how could I fail to keep going?
Post-Christmas, a few lines just popped into my head and kept playing over and over:
“Take your clothes off.”
“What?”
“You heard me.”
Evelyn forced her mouth shut.
“So? What are you waiting for?”
Her eyes met those of the man on the moth eaten chaise longue in front of her. He was serious.
Within days, these evolved into a full plot and Desire in Deadwood was born!
I wrote it in a week (two hours an evening after work – my marking took a bit of a backseat that week) and submitted it to Totally Bound.
And that, as they say, was that!
Between August 2013 and 2014 I’ve had eight books published, I have another two in edits and I’m working on the next one.
This is an exciting time and I’m thrilled to be a published author, but more than that, I just love writing and creating and knowing that readers are enjoying my stories.
